Machu picchu

The town of Machu Picchu, better known as Aguas Calientes, is the main access point to the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary, and it is the last destination station for trains leaving from Cusco and Ollantaytambo.

From Aguas Calientes, the ascent/descent buses depart (25 min. each way – shared service) to reach the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu as well as to return to the village.

The excursion to Machu Picchu must be requested in advance and will be scheduled according to the pre-established timetable.
