THERMAL POOLS 

Colca Lodge-Colca (Arequipa)

Few places in the world are fortunate enough to have such a unique environment and such a special quality of thermal water as those found at the Colca Lodge.

Located on the banks of the river, which is why they are usually closed for a few days during the rainy season (January – February) when the river rises, the four pools are fed by natural springs that gush up to a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius, loaded with minerals beneficial to health, especially lithium, the relaxing element by nature.

The design of the thermal pools has been carefully studied to interfere as little as possible with the natural environment. Only local elements (stone, straw, and mud) have been used to create a magical environment that will transport you to another dimension, especially at night, under the impressive starry sky of the southern hemisphere during the winter months.
