Day 01: Lima / Arequipa

In the morning, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.

Free lunch

In the afternoon, visit the Historical Center of Arequipa (UNESCO – World Heritage Site). Visit the viewpoints of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara.

Walk through the traditional neighbourhood of San Lazaro, and view the exceptional facade of the Casa Tristan del Pozo. Continuation to the Plaza de Armas and panoramic view of the Cathedral. The tour ends with a visit to the cloisters and the polychrome dome of the Church of the Company of Jesus.

Day 02: Arequipa

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, the mestizo architectural jewel of the city of Arequipa.

The Monastery, belonging to the Order of Santa Catalina de Siena, occupies an area of 20 thousand square meters and is divided into four typical colonial neighbourhoods of picturesque narrow streets and colourful gardens that have earned it the title of City within the City.

Free lunch.

In the afternoon, visit the Andean Sanctuary Museum where the mummy of “Juanita”, the beautiful girl of the Ampato volcano” is exhibited, as well as the objects with which she was offered to the gods according to Inca beliefs (1,400-1,500 A.D.).

Afterwards, visit the Alpaca World Eco-Touristic Complex where the process of alpaca wool, considered one of the finest in the world, is shown.

In the complex you can see specimens of alpacas raised on site, and also has the exhibition “Pre-Columbian Textiles” in collaboration with the Amano Museum.

Day 03: Arequipa / Lima

At an appropriate time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima.
